Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 1/4 cups white whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 6 ounces 1/2 bag mini chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.  Line two cookie sheets with parchment paper (or grease them).
  • In a microwave safe bowl, melt butter and peanut butter together.     
  • Stir in brown sugar, granulated sugar, baking soda, baking powder, and vanilla.
  • Add in flour 1/2 cup at a time. It is always possible you will need slightly less flour than the recipe calls for. Your dough should be thick but not dry.
  • Fold in mini chocolate chips.
  • Scoop cookie dough by the tablespoonful onto cookie sheet. Bake for about 10 minutes.
  •  Allow to cool and enjoy. Preferably with a tall glass of milk.
