Peppermint Chocolate Dipped Oreo Cookies

Ingredients

  • 12 Oreo cookies
  • 1 12 ounce bag melting chocolate
  • 1/2 teaspoon peppermint oil*
  • 3-4 candy canes crushed

Instructions

  • In a medium, microwave safe bowl, melt chocolate in 30 second intervals, stirring between each interval.
  • Once chocolate is completely melted, stir in peppermint oil.
  • Dip Oreo cookies into the chocolate one at a time and place to dry on a piece of wax or parchment paper.
  • Sprinkle still wet Oreos with crushed candy cane pieces.
  • Allow to dry for 30 minutes to 1 hour. Enjoy!

Notes

*If using peppermint extract instead of peppermint oil, use 1 teaspoon peppermint extract.
