These easy 6 ingredient brownies use just 1 bowl, and 1 pan (and a spoon, obviously). In about 35 minutes you can go from “dang, I wish I had a brownie” to a brownie in hand. (I mean, if you go quite that fast you’ll likely burn your mouth, but hey, I don’t know how strong your brownie craving is…).

My 2 year old wanted to make cookies the other day. Because the only part she actually likes is the pouring of ingredients and stirring the batter, we make bar cookies. I don’t have capacity to be scooping dough while she’s running around feral, unleashing her destruction upon my house.
We’ve made pan chocolate chip cookies about 100 times now, so I decided to switch it up and make something different. I looked up my brownie recipe that I’ve already posted. Dang. Before kids Heather was a pretentious butt cheese (working on giving up the swears now that the kiddo can talk…).
Cake flour? Melted bittersweet chocolate? What the heck? 4 eggs? In this egg economy? Now don’t get me wrong-that recipe makes a mighty fine brownie, but we are in a different stage of life here.
So this recipe is for you. The person who does not have cake flour or time.
These brownies are fudgey brownies. Cakey brownie people-these are not for you. Just scroll on by.
